| While the Artorian Order is primarily an egalitarian society, there are ranks to climb within the hierarchy. Specifically, those ranks are Page, Squire, Knight or Druin, and Peer of the Realm. | |

| Those individuals who have accepted an invitation to join the Court of Light as a Companion are inducted at the rank of Page. Pages serve the court, learn the tenets of the Light and the nature of the Artorian Order, and seek to prove themselves worthy of promotion to full Companion as Squires. | |

Squire | |
| Upon proving oneself worthy of the status of Full Companion, a Page is promoted by the Sovereign to the rank of Squire. Squires have most of the rights of autonomy and participation granted to all companions, including voting rights and the right to use weapons of higher station. Most importantly, Squires begin working towards promotion to the rank of Knight or Druin. | |

Knight | |
| Knights are the main contingent of Companions. A knight has the rights to use any and all weapons on the field of battle, may be chosen to be an older sibling by an incoming page, and may be selected to assume positiona among the Regency Council or administrate one of the nine baronies of the Kingdom. In Caledonia, there are ten orders of knighthood, organized along three paths. Many knights are inexorably associated with the order or orders of knighthoods they have achieved. | |

| Some knights take their study to a further extent, pursuing sacred, mystical, or otherwise magical applications of their chosen discipline. All Caledonian druins are, therefore, necessarily knights first, and, as such, have all the same rights and privileges as knights. Many druins may identify much more with the druinic aspect of their advancement. | |

Peer of the Realm | |
| For exemplary performance in service to the Court, for years of dedication to the Light and the work of the Artorian Order, some knights and druins are honored by the sovereign with promotion to the rank of Peer of the Realm. This rank bestows no specific authority or privileges beyond that of knight or druin, but the status carries with it respect and deference from Companions and peasants alike. | |
